How to use it
- →Use one row per employee per leave type — earned, casual and sick leave accrue and lapse differently.
- →Set the accrual rate to match the minimum in your applicable Act, commonly around one day of earned leave per 20 days worked.
- →Encashment is normally computed on basic plus dearness allowance, not gross.
Before you rely on it
Leave accrual and carry-forward minimums come from the applicable state Shops and Establishments Act or the Factories Act. Encashment beyond exit settlement is a contractual benefit rather than a statutory entitlement.
