Month-end payroll input checklist
Most payroll errors are attendance errors that nobody caught before the cycle locked. This is the list that catches them.
Opens in Excel, Google Sheets, Numbers and LibreOffice — no conversion needed.

What is in the file
These are the actual columns in the download, with a filled sample row so you can see the expected shape. Cells beginning with an equals sign are formulas and compute when the file opens.

How to use it
- →Set the regularisation cut-off a few days before the payroll cut-off, so corrections land before the lock rather than after.
- →The signed-off column matters: an input nobody owned is the one that turns out wrong.
- →Keep completed checklists — they are useful evidence when a past cycle is queried.
When the spreadsheet stops scaling
A template is the right answer until the reconciliation between sheets costs more than the sheets save. Workclave records the same data as work happens, applies your policy automatically, and produces the register, the payroll input and the client hours statement from one source.
